Originally a platform serving solely the music industry, WakeUp Entertainment sought to change the many problems within the music industry; however, after several rounds of meetings with coaches and local entrepreneurs, we are branding ourselves as a foundation for explosive ideas that will help us complete the same mission as before: Make local music; global. Our first business idea, we are garnering support for, is called @bandbuzz, and it is a marketing agency that provides musicians with marketing campaigns that help grow their presence leading up to their performance in a foreign market. One of the biggest problems for touring musicians is to gather a solid audience in venues outside their home base. With the help of @bandbuzz, we believe we can grow support for these touring acts, increase headcount per concert, and build upon the current fan base.
