Taylor Energy Alternatives is seeking first round investors for a micro hydroelectric power project and water remediation installation on an acid mine drain located in Luzerne County (Butler Township), Pennsylvania. Our goal is to produce carbon free renewable energy utilizing the flow and supply a local consumer through PPA (Power Purchase Agreement). Our second goal will be to treat this contaminated water to make it habitable for fish and wildlife and improve overall water quality in the downstream watershed. This project consists of six major components: • Water inlet • Penstock • Powerhouse • Five hydro turbines • Electrical components and wire to customer • Water treatment facility The project will generate an average of 1,987,200 kWh/yr at a retail price of $0.10 per kWh. We secured a long-term 25 year lease and have all land rights at the project site. All local and state permitting is ready for filing, contractors are ready for construction.
