My name is Evan Cleary. I recently graduated from Villanova University. I was offered a job to help a local start-up company raise capital for their ankle-foot orthotic called Novastep. Novastep Orthotics is a revolutionary Ankle-Foot Orthotic (AFO) that will be using smart materials to significantly improve the walking ability of those with a disabled foot. One common ailment that Novastep will be used for is called "foot drop." Foot drop is a side effect of many chronic illnesses such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, CMT, and cerebral palsy; it is also a symptom that people experience while recovering from strokes and spinal injuries. We are in a development phase now and are seeking an investment to accelerate us to the point of having our finalized product within 24 months.
