LIVEalpha’s mission is to empower qualified but underserved international students who wish to obtain a U.S. education by providing them greater access to student loans through our peer-to-peer lending platform. Many of the 820K international students in the U.S. have strong backgrounds but face financial challenges. LIVEalpha helps the following stakeholders: Students: Offer competitively priced loans that do not require SSN, U.S. credit history or U.S. cosigner / Offer the ability to build U.S. credit history / Offer access to a community of international students attending top tier U.S. institutions Investors: Provide opportunity to invest in an attractive pool comprised of students at top tier institutions that boast high graduation and job placement rates / Provide opportunity to earn a competitive risk adjusted return while having a positive social impact Schools: Help attract top foreign students who had been previously been constrained due to personal financial limitations
