About

It is commonly said you don’t truly know someone it'll you’ve walked in their shoes. - But imagine if you could walk in their shoes, see the world as they do and internalize how they feel. How quickly any bias or stigma could be corrected though the use of digitally simulated experiences. With In My Shoes: (Part 1) Depression, Anxiety Disorders & PTSD © you take on the persona of one of these individuals, learning how they navigate their life, and in-time better understand their difficulties. As a young educational or medical student, this provides an invaluable learning method that traditional methods of learning such as books and film could never attain. And for parents of the effected, a means to better understand their children. IMS is currently in closed beta testing Philadelphia and Washington D.C. universities after 15/mo of alpha development. The public release is projected to deploy to all desktop devices early 2016 with support for the Oculus Rift & Leap Motion as an SaaS.
