Lignoil is a liquid fuel to replace petroleum. It is made from lignin that is extracted directly on farms and shipped to our biorefinery for conversion into Lignoil. The on farm processing produces lignin and residual cellulose solids (RCS). Transporting these to our biorefinery is much less expensive than transporting raw biomass since they are much denser. The RCS are compacted on the farm and shipped to biorefineries that convert cellulose into bioethanol. The RCS can also be burned as solid fuel. Lignin can also be used as starting material for chemicals that now are processed from petroleum. Lignoil will be sold as a petrodiesel and gasoline supplement like E10 (gasoline with 10% ethanol) and will be marketed as L5 or L10. Bioethanol from RCS will be sold as E10. RCS solids will be marketed as furnace fuel as pellets or briquettes
